DEEP CLEANING OF ANILOX CYLINDERS

AGEPROX RT-394 CC is used for the deep removal of adhered inks when the solvent and acid no longer work and the alveoli are clogged, low on ink or defective. It is presented in liquid form, amber in color and soluble in cold water. It can be used in spray rinsing systems, but also for removal in rotary, ultrasonic or immersion equipment, making it much more efficient for most flexographic inks. Its high detergency power generates foam, but it is easy to remove.

ADVANTAGES

CAUTIONS

AGEPROX RT-394 CC has strong detergency and degreasing properties and should not be used in contact with hands and/or light metals. The user should be careful with splashes when using a spray, protect bearings or re-grease after cleaning. If it comes into contact with skin or clothing, rinse with plenty of water.

APPLICATION

AGEPROX RT-394 CC should be applied neat and spread by hand using a glove and a layer sufficient to cover the entire cylinder evenly. Leave to act for 1 to 5 minutes, repeat the operation and leave for a further 5 minutes. It can be rubbed in with the glove itself to speed up the process of dislodging the paint from the alveoli. Promote rinsing with pressurized water and dry with a cloth or compressed air.

The best performance is to use the Megawash 100% efficiency washer for rinsing.

If there is no water jet, wipe with water and finish with a dry cloth. To increase speed and efficiency, apply AGEPRINT 1325 cleaning aid after AGEPROX RT-394 CC and then rinse with water or a dry cloth and finish with a water cloth.

AGEPROX RT-394 CC by immersion produces the best results at temperatures of 40°C, which should not be exceeded in Anilox, as recommended by the manufacturers themselves.

GEL SOLVENT FOR REMOVING INK FROM CERAMIC ANILOX AND ROTOGRAVURE CYLINDERS

AGEPRINT 1325 is suitable for cleaning and is extraordinarily efficient for:

BENEFITS

HOW TO USE

DAILY CLEANING/MANUAL APPLICATION: spread an even, small layer of AGEPRINT 1325 over the area to be removed using a glove and leave the product to act for 2 to 15 minutes. Directly on the printer or with the cylinder out. Avoid contact with the ink, but small amounts are not harmful. Always remove with a cloth with water and then a dry cloth.

DEEP CLEANING / MANUAL APPLICATION WITH MEGAWASH or JET WASH: spread an even layer of AGEPRINT 1325 over the area to be removed with the glove and leave the product to act for 5 to 30 minutes. You can also wrap the ceramic cylinder with film/stretch (mummification) to leave the product on for longer, depending on the degree, type and quantity of paint to be removed.

PAINT – AUXILIARY REMOVAL IN CONJUNCTION WITH AGEPROX RT 394 CC and RC: apply/spread an even, small layer of AGEPROX RT 394 CC/RC over the area to be removed using a glove. Leave the product to act for up to 5 minutes without removing it and then apply AGEPRINT 1325 in the same way, applying and spreading it with the glove, leaving it to act for up to 5 minutes. Then wipe off with water and a dry cloth. Best results are achieved by RINSING with a jet washer or Megawash wet steam cleaner. Set the fan open and dry with a cloth, compressed air or naturally.

ADHESIVE – REMOVAL AID IN CONJUNCTION WITH AGEPROX RT 818/921: apply/spread an even, small layer of AGEPROX RT 818/921 over the area to be removed with a brush. Leave the product to act for up to 5 minutes and remove with a dry cloth or solvent. Apply AGEPRINT 1325 by spreading it with the glove, leave it on for up to 5 minutes, then remove with a dry cloth and then a solvent cloth. For engraved cylinders with severe fouling, use the mummify feature with film and leave to act for up to 12 hours and blast with Megawash wet steam, enabling 100% unclogging.

RECOMMENDATIONS

As this is a product with degreasing power, it is recommended to avoid contact with the skin, and PVC gloves should be worn. Keep packaging closed. See MSDS.
